Invitation to Participate
Create a team and participate in one or more vehicle categories. Compete in Skill Driving and ECO Driving to demonstrate mastery in precision, safety and efficiency.
Vehicle Categories
- HGV (solo) > 7.5 t
- HGV (artic / trailer) > 40 t
- PSV (bus / coach)
- Delivery van > 3.5–3.8 t class
Teams may enter multiple categories subject to eligibility and local logistics.
Disciplines
- Skill Driving: precision manoeuvres, judgement, safety under time pressure
- ECO Driving: efficiency, smoothness, fuel/energy use and environmental impact
Tasks reflect real-world operations and reinforce best practice.

- National teams via federations or authorities
- Teams from training centres and driving schools
- Company / fleet teams (operators worldwide)
- Driver clubs & associations
Solo entries may be facilitated through a national coordinator.

About the UICR PDWC
The Professional Driver World Championship (PDWC) is the flagship event of the UICR, held every two years with host partners. It brings together professional drivers from across the globe to compete for the highest honours in driving skill, road safety and environmental responsibility.
Beyond medals, the PDWC fosters friendship, technical exchange and mutual respect among drivers, teams, federations, authorities and operators. Each edition advances training standards and elevates the image of our profession worldwide.
